Support for Proposition #2 (2011 Success)
The Chamber supported the passage of Proposition #2; an amendment to the State constitution that would allow for the the Texas Water Development Board (the state agency authorized to issue and sell general obligation bonds to support financial programs for water related projects) the ability to collaborate with local entities in providing loans to fund water infrastructure projects in Texas.
